Bank Holiday Boredom

I always get bored on bank holiday Monday's! My fiance Phill works every Monday so it's just me and the Monkey usually. Today I took Blake around the shops and did some window shopping and trying on and saw lots of lovely jumpers I want.

At the moment I am really into the Revenge series, every monday at 9pm I have an uninterrupted hour to myself to watch it and it's bliss, so I suppose Monday's are good for something. Today at slimming world I lost half a pound which I'm really pleased about after the indulgent weekend I've had! Jack daniels, cheesecake and hog roast at my cousin's wedding and domino's pizza saturday night in! But I must admit I have been on slimfast the rest of the time and have been so hungry the past 2 days because of the minimal amount of food i've had. I really want to loose half a stone before my holiday in 2 weeks so I look a bit better in a bikini!

Tonight I had a lovely relaxing bath and used a new product that I really recommened it's called 30 day Thermal Transformation which is a mask that reveals smoother, glowing and more youthful skin

First Blog!

This is my first blog and I just want to say Hello! I am Zowie and I work with make-up and skincare and have done for 7 years now. I love products and get very excited when I try something new and would love to share my passion with everyone. I will be writing about my general everyday life with emphasis on things I buy and want, from clothes to make-up to music and food.

I am also a mum of a 15 month old boy called Blake and will also be adding some baby related products and topics. I still find it really important to keep your identity after becoming a mum as I think it can get lost very easily due to tiredness and less time to yourself, however I think you can always find enough time to do a little bit of make-up and sort out your hair as it makes you feel 100 times better than when you first see yourself in the morning after a sleepless night! Even after giving birth I was in that toilet 3 hours later putting on concealer and

I had some very bad news in June that my best friend Becky died and since Becky died I have found it hard to be on my own and relax as it gives me too much time to think and I'm not ready to accept it yet, she is still very alive in my head and heart and I will share the odd story and memory of her and my other friends to. This is also why I am writing as my other best friend Hayden said to start a diary just in case something happens to us then at least there is a part of us left. Like for example what we would want at our funeral, and because me and Becky never spoke about what song we would want and what our favourite flowers are we had to pick for her. So just in case my favourite flowers are gerberas, sunflowers, tulips and yellow roses. Still not sure on a good song yet so I will come back to that.
